Doctors and practitioners who don't know better, equate vitamin C with ascorbic acid, as though they were the same thing. THEY ARE NOT!  Ascorbic acid is NOT real Vitamin C. It is a synthetic C made in a lab from gmo corn. Corn is a grain. Grains irritate the gut and cause inflammation. Your body only absorbs 10% of ascorbic acid, the rest is lost in your urine.
