Transdermal Iodine has just as many topical applications as internal, and the results are often just as effective. Transdermal Iodine in the 10ml size is made with 20% SSKI, 20% Aloe Vera and 60% DMSO by volume, a hint of frankincense is added at 1 part per thousand. This formulation provides 10mgs/drop iodine as the iodide anion. DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide is a super solvent and detoxifying agent) increases iodide transfer through skin significantly, over 90%. Transdermal Iodine is formulated to reduce chapping and irritation to the skin from extended use that DMSO alone may cause. There are approximately 200 drops in this 10ml roll-on bottle.
