Women and Hormone Therapy

The American Heart Association published a study Menopause Transition and Cardiovascular Disease Risk and Early Prevention. The study showed that during menopause, bad cholesterol drastically increases; however, in women who begin hormone therapy early in menopause - that would be the perimenopausal stage - there is a cardiovascular benefit to being on hormone therapy. The study cited a 50% reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease.

When they looked at women using hormone therapy versus those who do not, hormone therapy significantly lowers high blood pressure, bad cholesterol and these women had significantly lower insulin sensitivity and significantly lower systemic inflammation.

Many women cannot tolerate prescription hormones or find them to be too expensive or don't want to keep going back to the doctor for hormone level testing.  Whatever the reason, prescription hormones are not the only option.

Homeopathic Hormones do not require a prescription or testing. Your body takes what it needs and you excrete the rest. Homeopathic hormones, coupled with food therapy like Happy Hormones Whole Food Therapy can be as effective as prescriptions and are safer than pharmaceuticals.
