Did you know that over 95% of the world's population is infected with the Epstein Barr Virus?

Karen Fitzpatrick-Dame, ChhC, AADP

Did you know that EBV is the virus that causes mononucleosis, also known as “the kissing disease?”  EBV is commonly spread through bodily fluids, primarily saliva but also blood and semen.

Infections in children usually do not cause symptoms, or symptoms are not distinguishable from other mild, brief childhood illnesses. When children activate with EBV before the age of 10, it’s much easier to overcome and they most likely will not reactivate later in life.

If acquired in the late teens/early 20’s the person will have a more difficult time with more severe symptoms and is more likely to have a reactivation later on in life because an active infection becomes a latent (dormant) infection, unless you rid your body of the infection once and for all, which the Desbio EBV Symptom Series Kit is designed to do.

Some of the most common acute symptoms of EBV are:

  • Adenopathy
  • Pharyngitis
  • Splenomegaly
  • Loss of Appetite
  • Fever average of 101 to 104
  • Rash
  • Liver Swelling
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches

You can rid your body of EBV using the DesBio EBV Symptom Series Kit
